Lainston House Summer Ball
When: Thursday, 14 August, 2008
Event: Lainston House Summer Ball
Location: Lainston House Hotel, Winchester

Roaring Twenties Summer Ball
The Roaring Twenties Summer Ball will be a spectacular ‘Great Gatsby’ evening at Hampshire’s leading country house hotel. Themed as a classic 1920s society party, the ball is an opportunity for everyone to dress up, turn on the style and support John's benefit year in real luxury. In a break from tradition there will be no raffles or auctions and, for once, cricket will take a back seat to a genuine social occasion with amazing food, excellent wine, great company and a stunning parkland setting.
Champagne and cocktails will be served on the lawn, before guests go into the great hall for a five course dinner prepared by the 2007 Hampshire Chef of the Year and his assistant, the UK Chocolate Master of the Year. Lainston House’s immaculate service and world-class cuisine, combined with quality entertainment and music throughout the evening, will ensure that this is an unforgettable night and the highlight of the benefit year.
Tickets for this unique occasion are only £295 per couple including champagne on arrival and a half bottle of wine per person, but there is also a fantastic opportunity to make a special night of it as Lainston House are offering any of their opulent rooms and suites for only £150.
Tables and rooms are strictly limited and going fast so contact Clare Britten soon to reserve your table and secure your suite.
